The Reason for the Season
We are newbies experimenting with photography. We choose a theme and shoot that theme for a couple of weeks or so. Originally our rule was that we could not manipulate our photos using software, apart from cropping and altering the orientation and using any in-camera effects that our cameras will allow. However, now we are experimenting with Photoshop also.

Christmas
Although tricky to photograph I am sorta pleased with these two photos.
Just want to get out there and try, try, try again.

Memorial Park
I went to the park on a sunny day and and my shots were useless. The next time I went it was a wet day and I struggled to get any shots at all. So I decided to try to experiment with the rainy shots afterwards at home using just one photograph and zooming and cropping.

Rain on Step at Memorial Park
While at Memorial Park I took a bunch of shots of the water-ski event from the park riverbank. This is the best of them.

Close Up Man-Made
I took all of these shots and the following post shots using my little point-and-shoot camera as it had a better macro facility than my DSLR.
All these shots were taken within 100m of my house.
