We are newbies experimenting with photography. We choose a theme and shoot that theme for a couple of weeks or so.
Originally our rule was that we could not manipulate our photos using software, apart from cropping and altering the orientation and using any in-camera effects that our cameras will allow. However, now we are experimenting with Photoshop also.
My favourite is the last photo, as I child I watched the TV programme 'The Lightning Tree' I have never forgotten the words of the song. As soon as I spotted this tree I just had to photograph it, this is my Lightning Tree. The dark skies around it, standing forlorn, broken, just perfect, and I have to say, a bit sad. This photo brings tears to my eyes.
The Lightning Tree is a nice shot indeed Kiki Dee. I like all of your photos. If I had to pick another fav photo in addition to the Lightning Tree I'd go for photo 3... or 5... or 7. Why try? Lovely work.
Ohh thanks, I have been checking back every day since I have posted them to see if you had noticed, to read any comments and to see if you have had time to put anything up yet. I really love my photos, just had to share them with someone.
