We are newbies experimenting with photography. We choose a theme and shoot that theme for a couple of weeks or so.
Originally our rule was that we could not manipulate our photos using software, apart from cropping and altering the orientation and using any in-camera effects that our cameras will allow. However, now we are experimenting with Photoshop also.
Oh wow, they were worth waiting for, thought I had nailed this one but once again I am impressed by your shots. If you number them from the top I really like number 1. for the way you have managed to emphasis the texture on the trunk. 7. the sun shining through the branches and just the way you have captured the 'whole' tree. But my favourite is number 4, just could look at this one for a long time, it just does it for me, love it. So, which one is your favourite?
Yeah I like number 4 too. Crisp focus on tree, interesting light through bark and out of focus leaves in the background. I do like the attempt in 5 as it is a tree reflection in water turned upside down but the light is not the best. Otherwise I like 1 and 7 also. The nikau palm lattice is sort of interesting too.
