We are newbies experimenting with photography. We choose a theme and shoot that theme for a couple of weeks or so.
Originally our rule was that we could not manipulate our photos using software, apart from cropping and altering the orientation and using any in-camera effects that our cameras will allow. However, now we are experimenting with Photoshop also.

Photoshop Pics - Phunky Barn followed by Pholorn Barn
Fiddling around with the colour and effect tools. Still a long way to go but had fun with this one.
Enjoyed playing with the tools. Starting to become familiar with the programme. Flipped, colour change and added some lightening effects. Cool fun. Think my next title will be Funky Barn.
